For over 30 years, CM-ET has been conducting 1 day classes to help familiarize users on the do’s, do not’s and general maintenance of the Lodestar.

As a result of this program and the dedications of riggers and their service technicians to increase their knowledge of Lodestars and their maintenance, there are thousands of CM Lodestars that have been in use in the field that date back to the 1970’s.

To follow that tradition, we continue to offer around the world these same 1 day classes consisting of discussion of electrical theory and how it affects the hoist, the disassembly of the hoist discussing the function of every part and re-assembling it.  At the end of the class, participants should feel comfortable being able to adjust the limit switches, adjusting the brake gap and being able to trouble shoot any problems in the field.  At the successful completion of the program, participants receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.
