WIRE ROPE HOIST REPAIR AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION

The Yale/Shawbox repair technician Certification School gives attendees an excellent opportunity to learn proper maintenance and inspection techniques on wire rope electric hoists. ASME/ANSI and OSHA standards and regulations are covered. This course is ideal for those technicains who already have been certified as a CMCO Chain Hoist Repair technician. This course allows technicians to add a level II to their existing certification. It is not mandatory to take the CMCO Chain Hoist Repair technicain course before taking this course.

- Wire Rope Anatomy and Inspection
- Sheaves and wire rope drum inspection
- Gearing
- Motor and Load Brake inspection
- Frequent and Periodical maintenance and inspection procedures

Hands on: VFD programing for CMCO Hoists

Hands on: Complete teardown inspection and rebuild of each hoist

Hands on: Troubleshooting Hoists (must repair, test for proper operation)

Hands on: Trolley installation

CMCO Wire Rope Repair Technician certification exam given at the end of the course
CMCO Wire Rope Repair Technican Certification is good for 5 years
